Carol Black DVM

Since graduating from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005, Dr. Carol has worked as a small animal practitioner in urban, rural, and emergency clinics, as well as provided after hours care to patients on a 24 hr on-call basis. Of all her experience, the most appreciated and meaningful appointments have been the ones that she has been able to provide for people in their homes.

Dr. Carol is grateful that she has been able to say goodbye to her own furry family members in their favorite place, in a private and familiar environment, and with the ability to love and spoil them until the very end. She feels fortunate to be able to share this privilege with anyone who wants the same experience for their animals.

Making the decision to euthanize your pet can be incredibly hard and can often be accompanied by unnecessary feelings of guilt. Dr. Carol believes that freeing your pet from pain and distress through medical assistance in death can be one of the greatest gifts that you can give to your beloved family member in their greatest time of need. Dr. Carol will support you through this process, by providing you and your pet with compassion, dignity, and respect, in the comfort of your own home.
